How it started

A vision for

SMV was established in 2008 by Sarah Morris on the Côte d'Azur. Having spent years immersed in the world of luxury hospitality along the French Riviera, Sarah saw a gap: travellers who wanted the quality of a great hotel, but the privacy and soul of a private home.

She started with three villas on the Riviera and a very clear vision.

Our guests return year after year — not just because the properties are extraordinary, but because every interaction with our team makes them feel genuinely cared for.
